Frances Causey and The Long Shadow Team supports Rachelle for H.R. 40 | OUR MISSION IS THE COMMISSION and Rachelle Zola’s hunger strike to demand immediate passage of H.R. 40: Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act.
There are countless people who have worked tirelessly for decades and who continue to do so today to pass H.R. 40. In solidarity with them and with all African Americans who, for over 400 years, have been denied racial equality and economic equity, I am committing to a hunger strike to raise awareness, calling for, demanding that the United States 117th Congress pass H.R. 40.
